  • Makeup Prep

    • Bring Inspiration: If you have a particular look in mind, feel free to save a few reference photos on your phone so I can get a clear idea of your style.

    • Fresh Face: Please arrive with clean skin and no makeup — it really helps with the overall finish and longevity of your look.

    • Lash Extensions: I recommend not getting lash extensions beforehand. On the day, I can apply custom individual lashes that complement your eye shape and overall look.

    • Already Have Extensions? That’s totally fine — I can still work with them, though just keep in mind they might alter the final result.

    • Lash Lifts: Please avoid getting a lash lift before your appointment. Lifted lashes can make it difficult — and sometimes impossible — to apply false lashes.

    Hair Prep

    • Clean & Dry: Please arrive with clean, dry hair and no styling products in it.
      I recommend a double shampoo cleanse, followed by a light conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends — this gives me the best base to work with.
      If you arrive with oily or dirty hair, it may limit what I can do and could mean I’m unable to achieve the style you’re after.
      If you arrive with wet or damp hair, a $30 blow-drying fee will apply, as this takes additional time and impacts your appointment.

    • No Heat Styling: Avoid straightening your hair or doing a smooth hot blow-dry — a rough blow-dry on a cool temperature is absolutely fine.

    • Curly or Textured Hair:
      If you’re wanting a smooth hairstyle, you’ll need to blow-dry your hair smooth prior to the appointment.
      Please avoid using heavy creams or oils, as these can weigh the hair down and make styling difficult.
      Also, do not use a straightener, as it can affect how your hair holds the style.
      If you’d prefer not to do the blow-dry yourself, you’re welcome to contact me ahead of time to book additional time for a smoothing blow-dry before your appointment (additional charges apply).

    • If you’d like to embrace your natural curls, please do your usual curly hair routine prior to your appointment. I can enhance your curls during the session and create beautiful up-dos, half up half down styles, or downstyles that highlight your natural texture.

  • What to Wear & Parking Info

    • Easy Outfit: Wear something easy to take off without disturbing your hair or makeup — a button-up or zip-up top works best.

    • Parking at The Mane Society: Street parking is available on Eureka Street and Park Street.
      Please allow additional time for parking, as it can get busy depending on the time of day.

  • All makeup services include the application of customised individual lashes, carefully selected and applied to enhance your unique eye shape and desired look. These lashes add natural-looking volume and definition, creating a flawless, personalized finish that lasts throughout your event.

    Lash Extensions If you already have lash extensions, I’m happy to work with them on the day; however, please note they may slightly affect the final look. I recommend avoiding getting lash extensions prior to your appointment to ensure the best results with the customised individual lashes I apply.

    Lash Lifts Please also avoid lash lifts before your appointment, as lifted lashes can make it difficult — and sometimes impossible — to apply false lashes.

Terms & Conditions

These policies are in place to protect both the clients and the artist, and to ensure a smooth, professional experience for all parties.

1. Booking & Deposits

  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure all bookings. This amount is deducted from your final balance.

  • Deposits act as a cancellation fee and will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled for any reason.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Deposits act as a cancellation fee and will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled for any reason.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will be charged the full service amount.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the remaining balance and full payment will be required for future services.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be made with sufficient notice.

  • In the event of a government-mandated lockdown, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond both parties’ control, efforts will be made to reschedule. If a new date cannot be arranged, a credit will be issued, valid for 3 months.

3. Lateness & No-Shows

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the full amount.

  • No additional time will be added to your appointment if you arrive late.

  • No-shows will not be rebooked without full prepayment for future services.

4. Health, Hygiene & Safety

  • Clients must arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean, makeup-free face.

  • Stacie maintains the highest hygiene standards and uses sanitised tools and products.

  • Services will be refused if the client is displaying any contagious symptoms (e.g. cold, flu, cold sores, conjunctivitis, COVID-19), or head lice.

  • If any contagious symptoms are observed and not communicated, the service will be cancelled on the spot and charged in full.

5. Right to Refuse Service

  • Stacie reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking at any time, at her discretion, including (but not limited to) situations where she believes she may not be the right fit, or if a client is disrespectful, aggressive, or unwell.

  • In these rare cases, any payments made may be refunded at her discretion, except for work already completed.

6. Liability

  • All products used are professional-grade and Stacie maintains the highest hygiene standards. However, it is the client's responsibility to inform Stacie of any allergies or sensitivities prior to the service.

  • Stacie will not be held liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, injuries, losses, or damages resulting from services performed.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all members of their party are aware of and adhere to these terms.

7. Refund Policy

  • No refunds are offered for services that have already been completed.

  • Satisfaction is important, and if any concerns arise during the service, please raise them at the time so they can be addressed on the spot.

8. Photos & Social Media

  • Stacie may request permission to take photos of your hair and/or makeup for her portfolio or social media.

  • If you prefer not to have your photo taken or shared, please let her know in advance.
